Boarding and Daycare General Policies:
Rates & Payment
Current daycare, boarding, and grooming rates are listed on our website.
We encourage clients to prepay for their pet’s stay in advance.
Boarding payment is due in full by the evening prior to the reservation start date.
A one-night deposit is required for all boarding reservations at the time the reservation request is approved. Deposits will be applied to the first night of your pet’s stay.
Deposits are refundable for boarding cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled drop-off. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Late Check-Out: Dogs must be picked up by 12:00 PM on the final day of boarding. Departures after 12:00 PM will incur a half-day daycare charge per pet.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up hours are Monday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM. We close at 7:30 PM.
If you will be more than 5 minutes late or we cannot reach you by closing time, you may be charged a late fee or your dog will be boarded overnight at your expense. All normal boarding rates will apply.
Boarding clients receive complimentary daycare during their stay.
Reservations & Cancellations
Daycare cancellations must be made by phone, email, or in person no later than 7:00 PM the night prior to avoid a $20 no-show fee.
Holiday daycare cancellations require notice by 7:00 PM the night prior or will incur a $30 no-show fee.
All reservation requests must be submitted before 7:30 PM for the following day. Drop-offs without a reservation will incur a $5 no-reservation fee.
We recommend new boarding dogs attend daycare prior to their stay to help them acclimate to our staff, facility, and routines.
Playgroup Safety & Management
Jazz’s Wonderland staff reserves the right to assign dogs to the playgroup where they will be safest and happiest.
We may remove a dog from group play if their behavior poses a risk to themselves or others. All boarding charges will still apply.
We have 7 separate play yards to create groups based on size, age, and temperament.
We highly recommend that new boarding dogs attend at least one daycare session prior to their stay. This allows them to become familiar with our staff, environment, and routines, helping ensure a more comfortable and stress-free overnight experience.
All boarding stays include complimentary daycare, allowing your dog to enjoy supervised play and socialization throughout the day at no additional cost.
Spay/Neuter Policy
Dogs over 9 months must be spayed or neutered to participate in group daycare.
Unaltered dogs may board overnight but will only be placed in larger playgroups on a case-by-case basis for safety.
Feeding
Owners are responsible for providing enough food for the entire stay, portioned and labeled.
If food runs out, a feeding fee may be applied for house food.
Packages Policy
Our daycare packages are designed to provide a discount for pups who attend regularly.
Standard daycare packages are valid for 45 days from the date of first use.
Enrichment daycare packages are valid for 30 days from the date of first use.
Unused days after the expiration date will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

Extended Daycare (Game Days Only)
Regular Daycare Routine: Daycare hours and activities run as normal from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Game Day Extended Pick-Up: On football game days in town, a staff member will be available for one hour for extended pick-up.
Pick-up is available starting 4 hours after kickoff, for a 1-hour window.
Late Pick-Up Option: Owners who need extra time may use a 30-minute late pick-up window for an additional $10.
After Late Pick-Up: Any pups not picked up by the end of the late window will automatically convert to Overnight Boarding at the standard boarding rate.
This ensures all pups remain safe and supervised while owners enjoy the game. Please bring food just in case, for an overnight stay.
Enrichment Activities Liability
Jazz’s Wonderland offers a variety of enrichment activities, including but not limited to: nature walks, farm animal encounters, garden exploration, painting classes, and arts and crafts involving materials such as clay, pet-safe paints, and other creative supplies.
While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, owners acknowledge that participation in these activities carries certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Nature walks and outdoor exploration: potential exposure to ticks, insects, allergens, and other environmental elements.
Farm animal encounters: potential exposure to livestock-related allergens, dander, or natural environmental debris.
Arts and crafts: potential contact with non-toxic but allergen-triggering materials such as paint, clay, or craft items.
Preventive Requirements
All dogs participating in outdoor activities must be current on flea and tick prevention.
For treat-based or food-involved activities, owners must notify Jazz’s Wonderland staff of any known food allergies or sensitivities prior to participation.
For arts and crafts, owners must disclose any known allergies to materials, including but not limited to clay, paint ingredients, or plant-based items used in activities.
Assumption of Risk
By allowing their pet to participate, owners acknowledge and accept that:
Risks associated with enrichment activities may be beyond Jazz’s Wonderland’s control.
While staff are trained to manage activities safely, exposure to environmental or material-based allergens cannot be entirely eliminated.
Hold Harmless & Liability Release
Owners agree to hold Jazz’s Wonderland, its owners, and staff harmless from any injury, illness, allergic reaction, or other adverse effects resulting from participation in enrichment activities.
In the event of an adverse reaction during an activity, staff will follow our emergency protocols, which may include contacting the owner, the designated emergency contact, and/or seeking veterinary care as deemed necessary. All veterinary expenses incurred as a result will be the owner’s sole responsibility.
Facility Policies:
Personal Items & Belongings
No toys or leashes left behind: Please do not leave any toys or leashes at the facility. Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for leashes hung in the walk-in area or any items left behind.
Bedding: Bedding may become soiled or damaged during a stay. We are not responsible for damage to bedding.
Senior dog accommodations: If you feel your senior dog would benefit from having their own bed, please speak with a staff member in advance.
Suitability for Senior Dogs
We are able to accommodate senior dogs; however, Jazz’s Wonderland is a high-energy, group-play environment that may not be the best fit for all seniors.
For seniors who may be less active or easily overwhelmed, we recommend one-on-one services such as private pet sitters.
Vaccination & Health Requirements
We welcome puppies of all ages, as long as they are current on the vaccines appropriate for their age. Puppies younger than 16 weeks may attend with the vaccinations their veterinarian has administered up to that point in their vaccine schedule.
All dogs must be current on the following:
Rabies (as required by Florida law; puppies under 16 weeks may attend without rabies until they reach the appropriate age)
Distemper (DHPP/DA2PP)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Canine Influenza is recommended but not required.
In addition:
Dogs must be on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Proof of a negative fecal test every 6 months is required.
Owners must provide up-to-date veterinary records prior to arrival.
Dog Behavior & Pack Integration
Our pack includes dogs of varying personalities—playful, shy, and everything in between. We welcome shy or nervous dogs if they can acclimate safely during their introductory period.
Our trained staff will assess each dog’s comfort and safety in the group. If needed, we may adjust playgroups or remove a dog for safety reasons.
Facility Environment
Jazz’s Wonderland is an indoor-outdoor facility. Dogs have the option to play inside and outside year-round.
During cold or wet weather, owners may provide coats for their dogs. Please avoid expensive or delicate coats, as they may become soiled or damaged during play.
Collar & Safety Requirements
All dogs must wear a regular buckle collar (no prong, chain, or martingale collars) to daycare for safety.
Name plates engraved directly on the collar are recommended. Dangling tags can be removed during play to prevent injury.
Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Leash Policy
All dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the facility. We are not liable for any incidents that occur off-leash outside the facility on the parking lot.
This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all pets, owners, and staff.
Bathing & Grooming Services
Full-service bathing and grooming are available and may be booked via the client portal.
If you would like your dog bathed before pickup, please notify staff at drop-off so we can plan accordingly.
Photo & Update Policy
Daily report cards with photos can be purchased via the client portal—this is the only guaranteed way to receive daily updates.
Complimentary photos and videos are posted on our social media (@jazzswonderland on Instagram & Facebook) at our earliest convenience.
For urgent updates or special requests, please text us at 352-570-0887.
Liability for Lost or Damaged Items
While we take care to keep pets and their belongings safe, Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or soiled personal items brought to the facility.
Dog Injuries & Illness:
Please refer to your signed contract for the complete policy regarding injury or illness while your dog is in our care.
Notification of Injury or Illness
Any injury or illness requiring medical attention will be reported to the owner or designated caretaker as soon as it is safe and practical for our staff to call.
Owners and caretakers are responsible for keeping all emergency contact information current in our records.
Veterinary Care
If your dog requires medical attention and you are unavailable, we will attempt to contact your emergency contact. If neither the owner nor the emergency contact can be reached, Jazz’s Wonderland management will make the decision deemed in the best interest of the dog.
When a dog is staying for an extended boarding period, we require a local emergency contact who can pick up the dog if needed.
Communicable Illnesses
Jazz’s Wonderland is not an isolation facility.
Dogs that develop kennel cough or any other contagious condition while in our care will be transported to the first available veterinarian for treatment and may be boarded there at the owner’s expense.
Time spent at Jazz’s Wonderland prior to transfer will still be billed to the owner.
Financial Responsibility
Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for any veterinary bills related to illness or injury that occur while a dog is in our care.
All veterinary expenses, including examinations, treatment, medication, and follow-up visits, are the sole responsibility of the owner.
Facility Safety Limitations
Our outdoor play yards are secured with 10-foot fencing for safety.
We cannot accommodate dogs that are known to jump or climb fences, as this presents a safety risk.
Veterinary Care, Illness, and Injury Policy
Jazz’s Wonderland is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of all pets in our care. This policy outlines how we handle veterinary needs, injuries, and illnesses during your pet’s stay.
Veterinary Partnerships
We partner with two local veterinary clinics for client convenience:
Tobias Veterinary Services – Offers on-site visits at Jazz’s Wonderland.
Newberry Animal Hospital – Located on 39th Ave; appointments require off-site transport.
Owners are not required to use these veterinarians. These partnerships are an option for clients who need updated fecal tests, vaccines, or medical care during their pet’s stay.
Fees & Payment Process
All veterinary fees are the owner’s responsibility.
Jazz’s Wonderland charges a one-time $50 setup fee to establish the dog’s chart with the vet and schedule the first appointment.
For each appointment thereafter, we charge a $20 concierge scheduling fee.
Jazz’s Wonderland will pay the vet’s invoice directly and add it, along with the concierge fee, to the client’s daycare or boarding invoice.
Payment in full to Jazz’s Wonderland is due at pick-up.
Transport to Veterinary Appointments
Tobias Vet: Services performed on-site at Jazz’s Wonderland.
Newberry Animal Hospital: A Jazz’s staff member will transport your pet.
Transport fee: $30 (covers staff time and fuel).
Appointments over one hour: Additional $15 per hour added to the transport fee.
Release of Liability: Owners understand that transporting a pet off-site involves inherent risks (e.g., vehicle travel, environmental exposure). By booking services requiring transport, the owner releases Jazz’s Wonderland from liability related to transport incidents.
Owner Communication & Treatment Authorization
For any injury or illness requiring veterinary attention, we will contact the owner as soon as it is safe to do so.
If the owner is unavailable, we will attempt to contact the emergency contact on file.
If neither can be reached, Jazz’s management will make medical decisions deemed in the best interest of the pet.
Owners must pre-approve a budget range for treatment (e.g., $100–$200, $200–$300, $300–$400, etc.).
If no budget is approved and we cannot reach the owner or emergency contact after three phone calls and a text to each number, we will authorize all treatment recommended by the veterinarian.
Communicable Illnesses
Jazz’s Wonderland is not an isolation facility.
If a dog tests positive for parasites or develops a contagious illness (e.g., kennel cough) during their stay:
The dog will be separated from group play for safety.
A $20/day leash-walking fee will be added for one-on-one care.
For parasite-positive dogs, separation will continue until a negative fecal test result is received.
Owners who bring pets with expired fecal tests agree to have testing performed on-site (via Tobias or Newberry Animal Hospital) and to cover all associated costs.
Owner Responsibilities
Keep all emergency contact and veterinary information current in your pet’s profile.
Ensure your dog is up-to-date on rabies, distemper, bordetella, and fecal tests every 6 months (plus any grooming vaccination requirements).
Provide accurate information about allergies, health conditions, and behavioral concerns.
Have a local emergency contact available for extended boarding stays.
Financial Responsibility
All veterinary expenses, including examinations, treatment, medications, follow-ups, and related fees, are the sole responsibility of the owner.
Time spent at Jazz’s Wonderland prior to a transfer for medical care will still be billed.
Facility Safety Limitations
Our outdoor yards are enclosed by 10-foot fencing.
We cannot accommodate dogs that are known to jump or climb fences.
Additional Terms & Conditions
Jazz’s Wonderland is not liable for veterinary outcomes or the quality of services provided by any veterinarian.
Any follow-up care after discharge from Jazz’s Wonderland must be coordinated directly between the owner and the chosen veterinarian.
If a pet is deemed unfit to return to group play by the veterinarian, the pet will be separated and cared for in a safe, quiet area until pick-up.
All vet appointments are subject to the partner clinic’s availability.
Owners acknowledge that transportation to and from the veterinarian may expose pets to external environments and that staff will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety.

Pricing Policy:
Our grooming prices are starting prices and may vary based on:
Pet size & coat type: Some dogs may be lightweight but have a tall or large build that requires more grooming time.
Coat condition: Well-maintained coats are quicker to groom, while coats with mats, tangles, or heavy shedding require more time and labor.
Behavior: Pets that are anxious, aggressive, or unable to remain still may require additional handling time or multiple staff members.
Service complexity: Specialty cuts, de-shedding treatments, or extra scissoring may increase grooming time.
Final pricing will be confirmed after your pet’s evaluation by the groomer at drop-off.
Pet Information:
Owners must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their pet, including: allergies, health conditions, behavioral concerns and special grooming requirements.
Pet Health & Condition:
Pets showing signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, lethargy) may be refused service for safety reasons. Pregnant pets, pets recovering from surgery, or pets with untreated injuries will not be groomed.
Grooming may uncover pre-existing conditions (skin irritation, sores, lumps) that we are not responsible for but will report to you.
Service Refusal:
We reserve the right to refuse grooming services for pets that are unsafe, aggressive, severely stressed, or otherwise pose a risk to themselves or our staff.
Dematting Policy:
If a dog’s coat is in poor condition and fully matted, the groomer will contact the owner to discuss a full shave down. Mats cannot be left on the coat, as they can lead to skin issues, discomfort, and restricted movement.
Dematting fees may apply for light mat removal. Severe matting will require a shave down for the pet’s comfort and safety.
Senior & Special-Needs Pets:
We will take extra care with senior pets or those with health issues, but grooming may pose additional risks. Grooming may be modified or stopped if it causes excessive stress or discomfort.
Style Requests & Variations:
We will make every effort to accommodate your grooming style preferences, but final results may vary depending on coat type, condition, and the pet’s behavior.
Emergency Veterinary Care:
If your pet becomes ill or injured during grooming, we will seek immediate veterinary attention from Tobias Veterinary Services or Newberry Animal Hospital, and owner of pet will be responsible for all related costs.
Satisfaction Policy:
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your pet’s groom, please notify us before leaving the premises so we can address it promptly.
