Dog Grooming Gainesville FL: What to Expect at a Visit

Bringing your dog in for a groom for the first time? Here is exactly what happens at Jazz’s Wonderland in Gainesville, so there are no surprises on the day.

Before your first appointment

Every appointment is booked online through our Client Portal, and each pet needs an online profile first. Dogs and cats must be current on rabies, and we need proof of vaccination before the first visit. You will also review and sign our Terms and Conditions. If you can’t book online, text us at 352-570-0887 with your preferred date, time and groomer, and our team will set it up.

What a full groom includes

Every full groom includes a professional bath, a soothing hydro massage, a breed-specific haircut, nails and ears. The goal is a pet who leaves clean, comfortable and looking great.

Drop-off and pricing

Grooming prices are starting prices. Final pricing is confirmed after the groomer evaluates your pet at drop-off, based on size, coat type and condition, and how complex the cut is. Mats, tangles and heavy shedding take more time, so a well-maintained coat usually costs less.

Cat grooming too

Yes, we groom cats. We offer baths, full grooms and nail trims, and our cat groomer has more than 15 years of experience with cats.

Proud to serve Gainesville, Newberry, Alachua and Archer
